ALERT: New Course Offering in 2010
TIPS will be offering a new course, “CAD 400: Bridging the CAD and GIS Gap in the SMCRA Workflow.” The purpose of this course is to assist personnel in integrating both CAD and GIS processes into SMCRA workflows.  Exercises will include use of Title IV and V data to show mechanisms of interoperability between CAD and GIS. Check out the TIPS and NTTP class survey for this new offering which will be held officially in the calendar year 2010.


Autodesk University 2009


The 18th annual Autodesk University (AU) began on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. “Learn. Connect. Explore.” was this year’s theme, which highlighted the benefit to Autodesk users attending the conference in increasing their knowledge and staying competitive in today’s economy. Autodesk’s CEO Carl Bass noted in his keynote address, “One of the best ways to stay competitive is through the use of technology.”
