The Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (SMCRA) National Coal Mining Geospatial Committee (“GeoCommittee”) is created and chartered to discover, review, and promote geospatial technologies that increase the effectiveness and efficiencies of SMCRA organizations.
