Atlanta, Georgia is an exciting city with diverse entertainment opportunities around every corner. After a day at the Conference you might want to stop and check out any one of the following sites:
The Cumberland Mall – Conveniently located across the street (via walkway) from the hotel. You’ll find great shopping and eateries such as Maggiano’s Little Italy, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Stoney River Legendary Steakhouse, Ted’s Montana Grill and The Cheesecake Factory.
Downtown Atlanta – The city’s downtown offers many beautiful sites; The famous Underground Atlanta covers six blocks of shopping, entertaining and dining. The World of Coca-Cola® is located downtown by this underground shopping mecca. Centennial Park, created for the 1996 Olympic Games, offers 21 acres of green area with gardens and artwork. The Georgia State Capitol is located in the downtown sector which houses the Governor’s office. Last but not least, to the east of downtown you can find the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site.
In addition to the many activities above, Atlanta hosts Chattahoochee River National Park where you can enjoy scenic hikes and canoeing, and the Georgia Aquarium where you can experience numerous aquatic species from both fresh and saltwater.
Don’t forget, Atlanta’s climate is temperate with average temperatures for the month of March between the mid 40s and the low 70s, so don’t forget to bring a jacket for the cool evenings!
