Acid Forming Materials: AML Workshop

This workshop provides information on the problems of acid-forming materials (AFM) and their impact on abandoned mine land (AML) project success and environmental remediation. A holistic, multi-disciplinary methodology is used in the workshop to develop fundamental concepts and applications based on an ecosystem approach to reclamation, control of acid-forming materials and prevention of acid-mine drainage. Participants play an integral role in the success of the workshop format which will be based on discussion and information exchange. Duration 3 ½ days
