The TIPS program has forged good working relationships with numerous groups over the past 10 years. In fact, NAAMLP, WIEB and IMCC jointly sponsored “2004 Advanced Integration of Geospatial Technologies in Mining and Reclamation” conference held in Atlanta, Georgia this past year. The conference was a large success, largely due to participation of the coal industry presentations and software vendor displays. Representatives from various organizations continue to bring good ideas to OSM with respect to application of recent technological advancements.
